Bob: “So, then she’s telling me about seeing Gorgon Fury fighting Awesome Rex. But nothing actually happened. And she doesn’t even know if Awesome Rex is alive or not. She was too busy going out shopping.”
Dave: “I already told you once what was going on. But you don’t want to hear it.

Panel 2:

Bob: “Because it’s ridiculous, OK? There is no way possible.”
Dave: “I’m sorry, buddy, but it’s true. You just don’t want to hear it. Where do you think all that money comes from?”

Panel 3:

Bob: “She got some good tippers, she told me so. What are you trying to imply?”
Dave: “That you are hopelessly naïve?”

Panel 4:

Bob: “I am not. I’m just not a conspiracist like yourself.”
Dave: “Dude, your girlfriend IS Gorgon Fury.”

Bob: “Maybe I should start trusting you more. I love you honey, and I always will.”
Sarah: “Oh I know you will. You’re mine, all mine.”

Bob: “I’ll get it.”

Bob and Sarah sit on their couch.

Bob: “So, wait. She turned him to stone?”
Sarah: “Yep. Turned him to stone right there. Then, she ran off with the loot.”

Panel 4:

Bob: “And what else happened? Did he die?”
Sarah: “…I…don’t know. I ran off after she did. He should be fine. From what I know Gorgon Fury’s victims turn back normal after a few hours. So anyway, I bought some new outfits.”

Voiceover: “Well, I was walking down the street. And there was a robbery at the bank. The Gorgon Fury!”

Bob: “Really? You actually saw her?”
Sarah: “Yes… now let me get on with my story. No interruptions.”

Gorgon Rage is staring at police officers, their guns drawn. Now, turned to stone.

Voiceover: “She was turning the cops to stone. She was unstoppable. A beautiful unstoppable force.”

Behind Awesome Rex. He has his hands on his hips. In front of him stands the Gorgon Fury.

Voiceover: “And that was when Awesome Rex showed up to save the day!”

Sarah is looking at Bob.

Sarah: “Bob, honey… what’s wrong?”
Bob: “Nothing. Nothing at all. Just… don’t look in the laundry room, OK?”

Panel 3:

Bob sits alone in the living room. The bags are laying on the floor, turned over.

Panel 4:

Sarah is walking out of the laundry room behind Bob. Her mouth is wide open, her eyes wide and bulging. Behind her soap bubbles are pouring out of the laundry room in an avalanche.

Bob has the washing powder turned upside down pouring it into the washing machine. He continues whistling.

Bob sits in his reclining chair, the remote in one hand.

Television: “Oh no! The room is flooded.”
Television: “You poured too much detergent in the washing machine again!”

Bob is shocked, in the air, his eyes bulging, his mouth agape, as he looks at the washing machine, bubbles pouring out of the top of it.

Bob: “I had fun.”

Dave: “I can’t believe we had to fill out that much paperwork. Whatever happened to just turning in a criminal, and the cops handling it?”\
Bob: “I think it has to do with the number of heroes around the city now. The cops could never get anything done.

Panel 3:

Dave: “Yeah well, we are doing them a favor.”
Bob: “Don’t worry, we’ll get our big break soon. We’ll be names, in the papers and everything. Just you wait.”

Panel 4:

Dave: “Yeah, well. Until then, I have to go to work in a few hours. See you tomorrow.”
Bob: “That reminds me. I have to do laundry for Sarah today.”

Dave and Bob stand in front of the main desk in the police precinct, criminal in hand.

Dave: “Pay no attention to my idiot friend here. This man fled from us. He was participating in dangerous activities. And I am certain he has stolen merchandise on him.”
Bob: “Even though we didn’t see him do it.”

Panel 2:

Dave: “Yeah…”
Desk Sergeant: “Quite all right. We just need you to fill out some paperwork for us.”

Panel 3:

Dave: “How much paperwork, exactly? We’re a bit busy.”
Desk Sergeant: “Not too much, just a few sheets needing signed.”

Panel 4:

Dave and Bob sit at a desk, filling out papers with two giant stacks of paper next to them.

Dave: “Remind me never to catch a criminal again.”

Bob and Dave are walking down the street. Bob has the criminal over his shoulder.

Bob: “I still don’t understand why we have to take him to the cops. Couldn’t we just tell him to not do it anymore and let him off?”
Criminal: “Yeah, you could let me go.”
Dave: “Oh you shut up.”
Dave: “And we are not letting him go. Criminals go to jail. Heroes take them there. Now, be a hero.”

Panel 2:

Bob and Dave are out front of the police precint.

Bob: “But couldn’t we just tie him up and let the police find him? Maybe put a note on him and call the cops.”
Dave: “We are going to turn him in. I am going to turn one criminal over to the police as a crimefighter. Just give me this one simple little thing.”

Panel 3:

Bob and Dave are at the doors to the police station. Dave has his hand on one door, ready to open it.

Dave: “Now, whatever you do, do not embarrass me. Don’t even open your mouth. Let me do all of the talking.”
Bob: “OK.”

Panel 4:

Bob and Dave are standing at the main desk in the police precinct. Bob has the criminal standing in front of them, against the desk. There is a desk sergeant behind the desk.

Dave: “We are here to turn this criminal in. He’s dangerous, and we would thank you for being so helpful as to take him off of the streets. He is a criminal.”
Bob: “Even though we saw him commit no crime.”

Panel 1:

Bob and Dave are walking down an alleyway, still in costume.

Dave: “Well, congratulations. Once again we have gone a full night without catching one single villain.”
Bob: “I am proud of our accomplishment if I do say so myself. Obviously, with criminals scared of us, they are staying off the streets and not committing crimes.

Panel 2:

Dave and Bob stop. There is a man in a mask, wearing a striped shirt, staring at them.

Dave: “…”
Bob: “Stop villain! For now you must face the fury of the greatest superhero team ever seen throughout this fair city. This wonderful country, and this lovely world…”

Panel 3:

The criminal is running away. Dave is chasing after him. Bob remains standing still.

Bob: “… a world which will never have to fear from the tyranny of evil. For we are here to stop evil. We are the… where are you going?”

Panel 4:

Dave grabs the criminal from behind.

Panel 5:

Dave walks back to Bob, holding the criminal by his wasteband.

Bob: “Why did you run off? I needed you to help me out. We are a team. If we can’t count on each other to help each other out, what good are we?”
Dave: “Then be a teammate and carry this guy for me.”

A woman is standing in an alley. A man is grabbing her purse, both of them fighting over it.

Text Box: “Crime stalks the city. The fair metropolitan is overrun with violence and murder.”

The man and the woman are both holding slackly onto the purse. They are staring up to the top of the alley.

Text Box: “Where ever there is evil. Wherever there is injustice. Whenever an innocent is attacked…”

Panel 3:

The man is running away from the woman. She is still holding her purse.

Text Box: “There is one group of heroes all evil shall fear. There is one team up of epic proportions. They are the American Super, and the Super American. The TITANTIC TWOSOME!”

Panel 4:

The two heroes stand atop the building. Bob (Super American) stands tall and proud. Dave (American Super) is slouching, deflated.

Bob: “And thus the day is saved once again. For justice has prevailed.”
Dave: “I really wish you would stop announcing our presence. I WANT to catch a criminal. At least once.”
