• Blind Man: “Excuse me. Can you tell me what time it is?”

• Bob Cox: “Why do you need to know what time it is?”

• Blind Man: “I have to go catch the bus.”

• Bob Cox: “You have a watch.”

Panel 3:

• Blind Man: “I’m blind. Can’t you tell?”

• Bob Cox: “No. Why would I be able to notice that you are blind? It’s not like I’m an expert on the blind.”

Bob waves his hand in front of the blind man.

• Blind Man: “Maybe because I’m wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night? I am blind. Really.”

• Bob Cox: “...Really really?”
